From the minute Maisy stepped into the studio I knew it was going to be a FUN sesssion!! Most sessions with 2yr olds are, and she had the spunk and personality that I just LOVE in sessions. So much fun, and exactly what I love- spontaneous, real, and joyful.

What a FUN day!! Thanks to everyone who came out to help break in the new studio We raised almost $600 for the Susan G Komen Foundation! YAY! A few peeks from the day…

Sweet Miss Madeline- always happy to be photographed! We had so much fun at her 1yr session this fall, I knew she’d be a hoot!

Miss Abby is the niece of one of my closest friends, Lynda. She looks so much like her mom and auntie!  Abby is a little shy, but a total sweetheart and to date the easiest 2yr old I’ve ever had to photograph

It was fun to see how much he’s grown since his newborn session! Austin is going to be a BIG boy- he’s already so tall!

I haven’t seen this smiling face since her 1yr old session, and she has changed so much! Definitely two years old- a favorite age of mine

LuaClaire is going to keep her mom on her toes!! Only 7m old and already crawling! She has the same sweet little face she did as a newborn.

My poor neglected blog…this time of year I feel like Dori in Nemo “Just keep swimming just keep swimming just keep swimming….” so as much as I love to blog each session, sometimes it goes to the wayside! This adorable family met me a little over 2wks ago at a small neighborhood park for a fun family session.

What a BLAST we had! Their love for each other, and happiness spending time together just seeps from everything they do. Which of course, makes them a dream come true to photograph!

Sweet Miss K greeted me with HUGE smiles from the minute she got out of the car, and I just knew she was going to be easy-peasy to photograph. Her whole face lights up when she smiles, as does her parents

Fall is such a popular time of year for outdoor portraits, especially family sessions. When the weather cooperates, it’s such a magical time of year to capture. I think we can all agree this year’s “Fall” has been waaaaay too short and dreary!! The *L* family lucked out on one of the few gorgeous days this month- and I had so much fun exploring spots at the Arboretum I’d yet to discover! Their 3 children were so much fun, so genuinely joyful and sweet….a true pleasure.

Thanks to everyone for making my 1st year of holiday mini-sessions a big success. They went so smoothly and I will definitely be adding them to my “to-do” list for next fall as well. The MN Landscape Arboretum worked out really well for the sessions, I’m so glad I decided to get the permit this year, it provided such amazing locations and scenery!

You’d never guess it was a chilly rainy day! The *A* family met me at the Como Conservatory for a fun session! I have a photographers membership/pass for the Conservatory which is a GREAT place for a quick indoor session where you can pretend it’s 75degrees and tropical!

I just knew my session with the M family would be a blast! Last year we had such a great time, and  now a year later the boys are even more fun! Fall is finally starting to show it’s colors here, and we found some fun leaves at the end of the session to romp in.

Sometimes my sessions are so easy-peasy I just can’t believe it. The S family was one of those sessions! Super photogenic kids who have such fun personalities and happy dispositions- what a fun session! Your kids always make me smile Enjoy your sneak peek!

Miss *E* is 16months and cute as a button! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing her a few times in her life, (last seen here) and she just keeps getting cuter! She’s now a full fledged toddler and keeping her parents on their toes We had a blast out at the Arboretum on a beautiful late afternoon. I can always count on E’s mom to bring awesome clothes along for her sessions- and always a hat- it took a little while but finally did get her to wear it!

C , A and E it was fabulous to see you again! Thanks for yet another great session!

Miss M and her parents survived a very warm evening, with crazy mosiquitos, for a super fun session. It’s a new location that I’ve been wanting to try and it really is a GREAT one so I’m excited to go there again! The lighting was sooo lovely, and of course Miss M is seriously ADORABLE!!
