3 Peas Photography- the Blog: Minneapolis MN Children’s Photographer – Baby, Child, Family

Meet Rylan & Elsie- two insanely CUTE 17m old twins who I had the pleasure of photographing last week. My blog readers know, that I have a special love for toddlers- and these two renewed all those feelings! Why do I love toddlers so? For all the reasons they are exhausting! You can’t get them to do what you want, they have their own agenda- but when they are happy and joyful it is SO real, and the same for the quiet tender moments…that take my breath away. There is nothing more honest, than the emotions of a toddler. Which is what makes them SO much fun to photograph (and yes, harder too- but I love a challenge!)

Elsie is a little more on the cautious side, but the bubbles helped

Rylan was pretty much good to go from the minute he arrived:

Meet Callie & Campbell- 2yr old twins who are the perfect example of the typical toddlers- always on the move and ready to investigate everything they can!
Photographing 2yr olds is always challenging- which is partly why I love them so much, you can’t make them do anything they don’t want to do, and they know exactly who they are and what they want- which makes them so much fun to capture on camera

This family was SO much fun to photograph- so easy going and genuinely enjoy each others company. They made my job easy-peasy! Their mom Laurie had won a gift certificate I donated last year to a raffle at the MN Mothers of Multiples Workshop, something I attend every year. I love photographing fellow multiples families

This family was SO much fun! Their energy, love for one other, and natural joy, really made my job easy-peasy! How did I get so lucky?!

We spent a lovely evening out at the MN Landscape Arboretum- last year I purchased an annual photographers pass and it was one of the smartest decisions I’ve made, as it’s become one of my favorite places for sessions.

Meet sweet little Rafi. Three weeks old at our session, and fully loved by his 3.5yr old brother & sister. He’s one lucky little guy!

I think he’s going to keep his parents on his toes, as he is one alert little bud, he didn’t want to miss a thing by falling asleep!

But eventually he gave in so we could capture some darling sleeping images as well.
