Her bottom two teeth have been wiggly for like, um, 3 months now? I was starting to think they were never going to fall out! But today- her first tooth decided to make a break for it! She’s soooo excited “I have a window in my mouth!!”

Her new big toothless grin.

This one makes me laugh- cause she looks like an annoyed teenager….

With her tooth fairy pillow that she’s just been ITCHING to use

I don’t what’s cuter….him or his fluffy hair!! Most newborns I’ve photographed are bald as can be- but not sweet Baby *D*- he has the CUTEST fluffy little hair on his new little head
I also just LOVE his beautiful pouty lips! He was SUCH a good little trooper- when I arrived he was out like a sack-o-potatoes and let me do whatever I needed to! We barely heard a peep out of him the first hour! Baby *D* also holds the honor of being the first baby to releave himself on me- which by the way my kids found extremely humorous. One of their favorite questions to ask when I get home from a newborn session is to ask what blankets/etc the baby peed on – when they heard it was ME- they laughed and laughed. I’ve had many a parent get the treatment, so I suppose it’s only fair it happen to me as well

Having previously spent many years working in South Minneapolis, it has a particular fondness for me….and in my current vocation, I love it for another reason- GORGEOUS lighting and scenery! Of course- today, that is in part to the lovely home and awesome landscaping of the N family. Not to mention their beautiful little girl. Meet their precocious 2yr old- who I had SO much fun with!! When during a photo session you can go from poking at spiderwebs outside, to a tea party inside- it’s a great day

Little Man *F* has the MOST amazing blue eyes!! 6months old and just as cute as a button
We were suppose to have the session the evening before, but were rained out…well it ended up being a blessing as the weather the next morning was BEAUTIFUL and this little guy was easy-peasy to photograph as he was happy as a little clam

I love photographing newborns….there’s just something about that pure, sweet, “newness”- there’s nothing else like it! This little guy was a trooper!! Sweet baby *A* did SO well- he was awake for a long time, and finally dozed of for just a few minutes- long enough for me to get some sweet sleeping shots

His VERY attentive big brother- he did a GREAT job !

Big brother *J*- was a HOOT! SOooo much fun to photograph- he’s 3 and really loved having his picture taken- he was a blast!

This week, I left Minneapolis and headed to Chicago. I spent a few days staying with my friend Sara. I came to visit her, but also to photograph her cutie-patootie-son, who wasn’t around last summer because of camp, when I was there and photographed her trio. Since I was coming to do some photography anyway, she arranged some mini-sessions with some of her friends and neighbors. It was a great time! I met so many lovely families and some insanely CUTE kids. They were real troopers braving the heat and humidity! Their sneak peeks are below!
So- first off- a sneak peek for Sara. I love these kids and they make me laugh because I think I’ve finally met some kids that talk more than my own!
The main man- D. His laugh is one of the best sounds I have ever heard. EVER. I want to record it to play over and over again when I’m in a grumpy mood

And his brother *E*:

And the other brother *J*

And the princess, *S*, who was in LOVE with the tutu I brought along

All together now!

When I arrived to their home and saw Miss “T* outside drawing with chalk, I have to admit my heart did a little gasp. CURLS!!! Look at those gorgeous CURLS!

Little Miss *Y*- is every bit your typical 1.5yr old toddler- spunky, active and sooo much fun!

And last but not least- sweet baby *E*.

The children together. Their mom gets FULL credit for me being able to pull this off. She was standing behind me putting on quite the comedy show for them.
