Loring Park on a GORGEOUS Day!

I’ve never been to Loring Park in Minneapolis before, so when D’s mom chose it for our location- I was excited to scope it out. What a GREAT park!! We had the perfect weather too! I had a great evening with D- chasing him all over the park. Such a sweet boy- with an easy-going nature. I love that his mom brought along his soccer ball and his Jedi Lightsaber! It’s so fun to include things they love- esp boys at this age who can be tough to photograph :)

The Spunkiest Sisters in Chaska!

These two sisters, who are 5y and 6y were SUCH a complete hoot! They could easily have their own show on the disney channel- SO much personality!!! I told their parents it was like dealing with two puppies- with all the rough housing, wrestling, screaming, jumping and giggling that goes on with these two. They sure kept me on my toes! They obviously have a great relationship and how lucky they are to have each other! :)

They are such gorgeous girls!!

3 Months of Sweetness- Baby E

Little baby E is all of 3months old and just a cute patootie! Her parents say she’s a pretty serious baby- but she did crack us a few smiles :)

This was my first shot of the day- CRACKS ME UP!

From Shy to Spunky- Miss A

When I first arrived to the H home- 3yr old Miss A wasn’t too sure of me….she was a bit shy and reserved. 15minutes later she was SO full of spunk and energy and not one bit shy at all! Such a sweet little girl- and so interested in everything! So much curiousity and energy :)

This was moments after she caught a frog :)

Every little girl needs a girly “Brella!”

Meet Sweet Newborn Zackary

This insanely adorable newborn belongs to my “roomie” Alicia (former college roommate)- the great thing about photographing your friend’s kids besides getting to spend time and catch up with them- you’re free to spend forever photographing them, and can pull out whatever you want to try. (like some new baskets I was itching to try out) Zackary is a great example of why it’s best to photograph newborns in the 1st 2wks of life- they are still sleepy and curled up and so much easier to pose. :)

Is he not just the cutest little thing!!!

The M & M Sisters

These two sweet little things were so much fun! Big sister is 3, and had so many things to tell me and show me. Her smile is just contagious! Little M, recently turned 1, and like all 1yr olds- had far to much to do and see than be bothered to be photographed- but I love a challenge!

Isn’t she a doll???

The adorable big sister who unlike her sister LOVED being photographed

I love little one’s eye lashes…

Pure sweetness!

I’ve said it before…sibling shots are the hardest! Thankfully you can always count on a walking shot to at least get them in the same frame… :)

“Best Birthday EVER”

What a great day….perfect weather for our beach party, the kids had a blast with their friends all afternoon- then for dinner we headed to a local fave. If you live in the Cities and haven’t been- you really must!

Happy Birthday to my 3 Peas!

Hard to believe that they are SIX years old!!! WHERE has all the time gone?

We have a fun filled day- and I’ll be back later with pics- but had to share a pic of their “beginning” :)

Makes me weepy to remember them so little:

Little Mr. P - Toddlericious!

To say this boy loves basketball…would be an understatement. If he’d had his way- he would have tossed it down the driveway and made me chase it for him 100000times :) Toddlers crack me up- because you truly can’t MAKE them do anything for a photo- they just do what they want. Which I have to admit- I love. They are true to themselves like no other age! Now it does make my job as a photographer that much more challenging- but the photographs that result are so pure it makes it worth it 1000time over. :)
