I ALWAYS look forward to sessions with this family, as I know it’s going to be SO much fun! They have the cutest, happiest boys. Big brother P- I think anytime I’m having a bad day I should just go photograph him, as he always makes me laugh! His twin brothers are just soooo adorable, and are now independent sitters!
First up- the twosome. It doesn’t get much cuter than this!

Mr P

This makes LAUGH!! I can hear his giggle…

Fun in leaves

Mom with her boys

I just knew my session with the M family would be a blast! Last year we had such a great time, and now a year later the boys are even more fun! Fall is finally starting to show it’s colors here, and we found some fun leaves at the end of the session to romp in.
1st up- a personal favorite from the day…

Leaf fight!

R with his beloved truck

Nothing cuter than a pirate soccer player!

The dynamic duo

He’s just TOO cute!

The adorable family- this is a new favorite family image of mine for sure!

Thanks M family for another fabulous session!

These 6 adorable kids belong to two of my favorite people- my girlfriends Alicia and Jane. They made the roadtrip up for a fun night of all the kids playing at the hotel pool while us former college roommates got to hang out and chat- and the next morning we did some quick mini-sessions of the kiddos

Love you!

When LC’s mom called me to tell me the news of her arrival- she told me how ALL the nurses in the hospital were oooing and ahhhing over her insanely cute new baby girl and I couldn’t wait to meet her and sure enough- she’s just the cutest little thing!
We used this scarf at her maternity session- so it was fun to use it at the newborn session also!

This one makes me chuckle- she’s ready to rumble

So sweet!

In her momma’s arms…

I love this one- from momma’s happy face to LC’s little toes peeking out

Little Miss *J* and her big brother *J* are just two of the happiest little people I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. We had lots of fun during our photo session- looking for spiders, watching the boats on the lake, playing in the dirt, laughing and giggling….what a great way to spend an evening
Little Miss “J” always on the move

Doesn’t she have the best smile?!

In a brief second of sitting still

Joyful Mr “J”

I love this family shot

Thanks for a great evening *M* family!

It was obvious to me instantly that this adorable 1yr old is just the apple of his parents (and grandparents) eyes! Talk about turning on the charm! This little monkey had all of us wrapped around his finger….and totally deserving as he’s just the sweetest little guy!

*D* is definitely a mover and a shaker- very busy and on the go!
This one makes me laugh:

Stopping for a minute to read his favorite book with mommy:

Here daddy try this…

Family of Three

Thanks K & B for having me over to photograph your awesome little guy!

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted pics of my kids- mostly because, well, as my fellow photogs know my kids, like most of their kids, suffer from PKS- aka Photographers Kids Syndrome. Which basically means that while I can photograph other people’s children- my own are next to impossible. Most of the time they run away, or make really really annoyed facial expressions. It’s painful really. Occasionally they will humor me- usually if I say “I need to take a picture to send to grandma!”
ANYHOO- today at the kids’ school it was “Super Hero Day” so they could dress up. My lovely children chose to go as their super selves. Which I just LOVE. They’ve had these capes since they were 3yrs old- Grandma G made them for them and they are a staple of their dress-up play. The kids chose their own outfits today- complete from head to toe- can I just say I love my kids

It’s hard to believe that it was over a year ago I was racing to Waconia in the middle of the night to be there to photograph his birth into this world. Truly an experience I will never ever forget
In the past year I’ve had the honor of photographing him at several milestones- and now he’s turned one!

He has the most amazing blue eyes…

Those cheeks! Those lashes!

Loving up momma

Sigh….this is my favorite….

I just cannot get over her perfect little lips and those looooog lashes!! Isn’t she just beautiful! At 7wks Miss N was the perfect pumpkin, happy as could be, or sleeping soundly!

She has the most beautiful baby blues…

After a string of little babies it was fun to have a baby session with some chubby goodness!

With her proud and sweet big brother, 2yr old *A*- isn’t he a doll?

Aren’t you loving all the twins lately?? I am! There’s just something about multiples that make me happy…probably because as a mom of multiples myself I of course have a soft spot, especially since I could kick myself for not getting professional photos done when my own trio were wee ones. Ahhh hindsight is truly 20/20. Okay- on to this adorable duo. Identical twin boys- 4wks old and sooooooo sweet! With 4wk olds I usually have pretty realistic (read: low) expectations, as 4-6wks can be a tricky age to photograph as babies are typically a little more temperamental because, well, that’s what they are suppose to be. They are often in that “don’t you dare put me down by myself” stage
BUT these two were seriously FABULOUS!! It did take a little time, but they did get totally in sync and sleep at the same time and allowed us some very fun photos. Okay..less words, more photos, I know I know
It does not get much cuter than this…..it makes me sigh…

All snuggled up:

I love his little grin….

This one makes me smile…

I still can’t believe we pulled this one off…

When mom pulled these hats out- that she knit HERSELF I think I let out a squeal…

Thanks S family for a wonderful afternoon- your boys are so sweet and easy-peasy I was totally grinning the whole way home. My fellow photogs know that feeling..it’s oh-so-good

I know….it doesn’t get much cuter than this does it
These two sisters were so sweet! Newborn twins….it’s challenging enough to position, keep happy, and photograph ONE newborn, but multiples- really provide a super fun challenge that I was so excited to do it once again. Now either of these sweet baby girls as a singleton would have been a piece of cake! They really are super sweet babies- but for whatever reason this day were on different schedules of when they decided to be awake/asleep/and happy. We did get a few windows of togetherness….and that made it all so worthwhile
Mom was very patient with the process, and given that most of my singleton newborn sessions typically take 2-3hrs…. 3.5hrs for twins isn’t too shabby!
I think this one if my fave…

V+E

Miss *E* and her amazing eyes….she spent almost an hour totally alert like this and just STARED at me- it was amazing! Her focus at this age is astounding- it’ll be interesting as she gets older if she continues to not want to miss any of the action.

Miss V was much sleepier….I just LOVE her little smile…

I love how their hands are making sort of a heart shape- how sweet is that?

Snuggled face to face

Thanks W family for having me come to photograph this amazing and fleeting time in your girls lives….you really are blessed- 5 beautiful girls- what a fun bunch they all are!
