I’ve just been loving all the belly-to-baby sessions lately! It’s so fun to capture two such amazing times in a family’s life. Another recent arrival – meet sweet Simon!

Playing a little blog catch-up….I *try* to blog most sessions but several fell the the wayside in December in the holiday crunch- so trying to post-blog a few 
The G family were so much fun to photograph- they were in love with their sweet little baby girl before she was even here. I love photographing maternity and newborn sessions, it’s always so amazing to document this time in a couple’s lives.

Sweet baby J made an early arrival to the world, deciding to arrive almost 3months early. He’s now finally home, and had his session on his actual due date! He was as sweet as can be, SUCH a good little model for me. Doesn’t he have the most amazing eyes and eyelashes? I just can’t stop smiling!

I typically don’t use actual names on my blog, with the one exception being my friends’ newborns- I pretty much always out them THIS is the newest little love to our little close-knit group of friends. I’ve known his mom for….um….over 20yrs (WOW) and she’s one of my favorite people on the planet, and I’m so happy for her and her hubby that my heart could burst
So meet 10day old Jacob:
Someday I WANT a scale just like this….2+ years ago when I photographed Jacob’s brother as a newborn (seen here ) I saw this on their table and HAD to use it for the photographs. So this time- when they drove from WI to here for the session they brought it with them- I was SO excited. Thanks A’s mom for letting me use it again (and, ahem, when you’re done with it you know where you can donate it to….maybe someday?? )

These two boys were sweet as can be and just sooooo adorable!!!
It was my longest newborn session ever- but I enjoyed every minute
When LC’s mom called me to tell me the news of her arrival- she told me how ALL the nurses in the hospital were oooing and ahhhing over her insanely cute new baby girl and I couldn’t wait to meet her and sure enough- she’s just the cutest little thing!
We used this scarf at her maternity session- so it was fun to use it at the newborn session also!
This one makes me chuckle- she’s ready to rumble

7wk old adorable twin boys- and their sweet 2yr old brother. What a house full of love! We had a great afternoon- all 3 boys were just a delight
