Aren’t you loving all the twins lately?? I am! There’s just something about multiples that make me happy…probably because as a mom of multiples myself I of course have a soft spot, especially since I could kick myself for not getting professional photos done when my own trio were wee ones. Ahhh hindsight is truly 20/20. Okay- on to this adorable duo. Identical twin boys- 4wks old and sooooooo sweet! With 4wk olds I usually have pretty realistic (read: low) expectations, as 4-6wks can be a tricky age to photograph as babies are typically a little more temperamental because, well, that’s what they are suppose to be. They are often in that “don’t you dare put me down by myself” stage
BUT these two were seriously FABULOUS!! It did take a little time, but they did get totally in sync and sleep at the same time and allowed us some very fun photos. Okay..less words, more photos, I know I know
It does not get much cuter than this…..it makes me sigh…

All snuggled up:

I love his little grin….

This one makes me smile…

I still can’t believe we pulled this one off…

When mom pulled these hats out- that she knit HERSELF I think I let out a squeal…

Thanks S family for a wonderful afternoon- your boys are so sweet and easy-peasy I was totally grinning the whole way home. My fellow photogs know that feeling..it’s oh-so-good

The P family was blessed with beautiful identical twin girls 4yrs ago….and AGAIN 4 weeks ago. I googled it and having two sets of identical twins is 1:70,000 chance! P family I think you should play the lottery as you seem to have a way with odds
The fabulous foursome:

Double Yawn:

These next two I just love- it’s like they are talking to each other and sharing secrets….and I can almost picture them years from now doing the same thing:

I love newborn feet…and I think this is so sweet with mom’s hand:

So sweet and peaceful:

Thanks P family for allowing me to photograph your beautiful girls!

I know….it doesn’t get much cuter than this does it
These two sisters were so sweet! Newborn twins….it’s challenging enough to position, keep happy, and photograph ONE newborn, but multiples- really provide a super fun challenge that I was so excited to do it once again. Now either of these sweet baby girls as a singleton would have been a piece of cake! They really are super sweet babies- but for whatever reason this day were on different schedules of when they decided to be awake/asleep/and happy. We did get a few windows of togetherness….and that made it all so worthwhile
Mom was very patient with the process, and given that most of my singleton newborn sessions typically take 2-3hrs…. 3.5hrs for twins isn’t too shabby!
I think this one if my fave…

V+E

Miss *E* and her amazing eyes….she spent almost an hour totally alert like this and just STARED at me- it was amazing! Her focus at this age is astounding- it’ll be interesting as she gets older if she continues to not want to miss any of the action.

Miss V was much sleepier….I just LOVE her little smile…

I love how their hands are making sort of a heart shape- how sweet is that?

Snuggled face to face

Thanks W family for having me come to photograph this amazing and fleeting time in your girls lives….you really are blessed- 5 beautiful girls- what a fun bunch they all are!

Okay- I’ll admit it…..ever since doing J’s maternity session I’ve been excitedly waiting for this session. There’s just something about multiples- and especially newborn multiples that makes me a little giddy. I just love them! I love photographing newborns in general, but to do twins is just down right awesome!
Meet “The Boys” who are all of 8days old. They were amazing little troopers- and basically slept like logs the entire time I was there!
I’d like to pretend that it’s because I’m the Baby Whisperer and really rock- but I know it’s because their mom and dad brilliantly had me come while they were still so little. Photographing newborns in those first 10days really makes all the sleepy poses so much easier!
So without further ado- The Boys

These hats….ahhhh they bring back memories. They actually belonged to my two boys and I have such memories of them wearing them in the NICU, and then at home. Seeing two little boys in them again made my heart happy
I’m glad I found them recently!

Okay….I know…seriously…how insanely cute are they
They really loved being all snuggled together.

They have been seen many times on my blog- baby *A* most famously as I photographed his birth into this world back in March- seen HERE. He’s now 6months old!! The big brothers boys C+C are two my kids favorite people- and always have a blast when they get together.
And that baby boy- isn’t he just delicious!?
