His momma is a super planner- she had this photo session scheduled months ago so all I had to do was wait for the call that he was here, and ready to be photographed! :)

Now- people in the Twin Cities know- that these CDs literally sell out within 20 minutes. So- to be able to purchase one you have to either buy them on EBay for gads of money- OR stand in line early early in the morning outside, in the cold, waiting for Target to open so you can buy one in person.

My lovely husband does this for me. EVERY. YEAR. Stands in line at 6am for a few hours- so I can keep adding to my collection (yes- I actually have ALL 20!!)

I love you hon!

Oh- and my other happy moment- was I put the CD in the truck on the way to bring the kids to school and ALL 3 started signing along with the 1st song. I love our kids :)

Cold weather be darned! Talk about super attitudes! We met at the Wayzata Depot, which I’ve never been to before but it’s pretty cool! I’ll definitely have to take my kids there sometime…when the weather is warmer :)

Thanks *G* family for being SO awesome despite the temps- you get a big gold star for positive attitudes! :) I still can’t believe you went out for ice cream after….I went home and had a nice big cup of hot tea! :)

His cute neighbor Miss P, has been seen here.  I love shooting in Minneapolis, especially in South Minneapolis…the light there is just so yummy! As my blog regulars know- I have a special affection for toddlers…it probably stems from my years in college I worked as a toddler teacher (in south mpls no less!) but I just LOVE this age. I could have spent all day with Mr. P just listening to him and playing :)

There’s just something about multiples- and especially newborn multiples that makes me a little giddy. I just love them! I love photographing newborns in general, but to do twins is just down right awesome!

Meet “The Boys” who are all of 8days old. They were amazing little troopers- and basically slept like logs the entire time I was there! :) I’d like to pretend that it’s because I’m the Baby Whisperer and really rock- but I know it’s because their mom and dad brilliantly had me come while they were still so little. Photographing newborns in those first 10days really makes all the sleepy poses so much easier! :)

These hats….ahhhh they bring back memories. They actually belonged to my two boys and I have such memories of them wearing them in the NICU, and then at home. Seeing two little boys in them again made my heart happy :) I’m glad I found them recently!
