From the minute Maisy stepped into the studio I knew it was going to be a FUN sesssion!! Most sessions with 2yr olds are, and she had the spunk and personality that I just LOVE in sessions. So much fun, and exactly what I love- spontaneous, real, and joyful.

This adorable couple are expecting their first baby and are waiting to be surprised to see if it’s a boy or a girl. LOVE that!! I always love doing maternity sessions, there’s just nothing so lovely as those last few weeks before “we” turns from two to three They have the honor of being my 1st ever session in the new studio loft- and I can already tell how much I’m going to love the light

Valentine Minis

What a FUN day!! Thanks to everyone who came out to help break in the new studio We raised almost $600 for the Susan G Komen Foundation! YAY! A few peeks from the day…

Sweet Miss Madeline- always happy to be photographed! We had so much fun at her 1yr session this fall, I knew she’d be a hoot!

Miss Abby is the niece of one of my closest friends, Lynda. She looks so much like her mom and auntie! Abby is a little shy, but a total sweetheart and to date the easiest 2yr old I’ve ever had to photograph

It was fun to see how much he’s grown since his newborn session! Austin is going to be a BIG boy- he’s already so tall!

I haven’t seen this smiling face since her 1yr old session, and she has changed so much! Definitely two years old- a favorite age of mine

LuaClaire is going to keep her mom on her toes!! Only 7m old and already crawling! She has the same sweet little face she did as a newborn.

Valentine’s Day Mini Sessions!

The new Minneapolis studio is just about finished, and to kick off this new adventure I’ve decided to offer my first ever STUDIO mini sessions, just in time for Valentine’s Day! To make it even more exciting, the entire $75 mini session fee will be donated directly to the Susan G Komen 3-Day for the Cure. That’s right, not only do you get a fabulous deal, but it’s 100% tax deductible!

These mini sessions will be 20min each, resulting in 10-12 images posted in an online gallery for viewing and ordering. They will be fun and focused on capturing your child’s great expressions and charming personality! Choose from custom designed Valentine Day Cards OR 2 Desk Prints (8×10 or smaller). What could be cuter than your child on their classroom valentine cards! Not in school yet? Grandparents, cousins and friends LOVE receiving these adorable cards or simply choose desk prints. What a great gift to surprise your loved ones, just in time for Valentines Day.

The mini sessions will take place at my downtown Minneapolis studio loft, one day only. Sunday, January 24th. Sessions are limited, so be sure to reserve right away!

Details:

- Session Payment will be made directly to the Susan G Komen 3-Day. I will email you the link you need, once you’ve made your “donation” simply forward me the email receipt!

- The session covers ONE child. Additional session slots required for siblings.

- Due to the nature of mini sessions, babies must be able to sit independently.

- Images from the mini sessions will be posted online, and orders will be due February 1st, to ensure delivery by February 10th.

Playing a little blog catch-up….I *try* to blog most sessions but several fell the the wayside in December in the holiday crunch- so trying to post-blog a few

The G family were so much fun to photograph- they were in love with their sweet little baby girl before she was even here. I love photographing maternity and newborn sessions, it’s always so amazing to document this time in a couple’s lives.

Precious Peanut

Sweet baby J made an early arrival to the world, deciding to arrive almost 3months early. He’s now finally home, and had his session on his actual due date! He was as sweet as can be, SUCH a good little model for me. Doesn’t he have the most amazing eyes and eyelashes? I just can’t stop smiling!

My poor neglected blog…this time of year I feel like Dori in Nemo “Just keep swimming just keep swimming just keep swimming….” so as much as I love to blog each session, sometimes it goes to the wayside! This adorable family met me a little over 2wks ago at a small neighborhood park for a fun family session.

I ALWAYS look forward to sessions with this family, as I know it’s going to be SO much fun! They have the cutest, happiest boys. Big brother P- I think anytime I’m having a bad day I should just go photograph him, as he always makes me laugh! His twin brothers are just soooo adorable, and are now independent sitters!

Fall Fun- Family Style

Fall is such a popular time of year for outdoor portraits, especially family sessions. When the weather cooperates, it’s such a magical time of year to capture. I think we can all agree this year’s “Fall” has been waaaaay too short and dreary!! The *L* family lucked out on one of the few gorgeous days this month- and I had so much fun exploring spots at the Arboretum I’d yet to discover! Their 3 children were so much fun, so genuinely joyful and sweet….a true pleasure.
