Cousins

I have had the pleasure of knowing this family since 1991- thanks to a random lottery dorm room assignment:)3 of these 5 boys belong to one of my college “roomies” and the other 2 are her younger sister’s. 5 boys all 4 and under. What fun the holidays are for them!:)

The whole crew:

Seriously one of the sweetest kids I’ve ever known…he’s the nicest big brother and SO patient and loving…

Okay- I know it’s not nice…but this one makes me LAUGH!! It’s very much the face I got for most of the photosession and just screams “Hi I’m TWO”

I. Want. To. Squoooooooosh. Him. Hard to believe that a mere 5months ago THIS was him!

Happy Mr. A- isn’t his smile sooooo adorable!!! He has grown SO much SO fast!! THIS was him in July!

and his big brother- who is such a hoot! Mr. Personality!:)

Elf on the Shelf

He’s only been in our house for two days, but it’s been a HOOT so far!! Now he’s not the “official” little guy- I headed to The General Store in Minnetonka (which if you’ve never been to and live in the Twin Cities you really should check it out- esp during the holiday- it’s awesome) intending to buy the offical little guy- but instead found this one- who’s really an ornament, but he was only $7 (compared to the real elf w/book for $30) He’s about 10″ tall and totally poseable- PERFECT! Plus I think he’s much cuter than the other one.

For those not familiar with the story- basically Santa send a scout elf, to hang out in the house and keep on eye on the kids to see if they are being “naughty or nice” and then every night- once they are asleep he returns to the North Pole to give Santa a report. Then the next morning he’s back- BUT in a totally different spot. So it’s a fun little hide-n-seek game. We told the kids that one of the rules from Santa is that they can’t touch the elf:)

It’s been a hoot so far- they randomly  talk to him- tell him things and even fess up to things to him. They also think he’s really cute and want to know what he eats, what his name is, etc…. only grown ups can hear him, so Mark and I can report what he’s saying:)So if you have any good elf names- let me know!

What a great thing to do with the kids at this time of the year. I would need to do something like this to with my kids. Now just to find an elf like that.

Our elf is named “Jingles,’ but I have a friend who’s son named his “Shelf-A-Lot.” I thought that was adorable!

Sweet Baby *A*

One month old and sweet as can be! Little baby *A* was a super trooper- the only thing we couldn’t get her to do- was sleep!:)But she was a happy, pleasant little camper who was unbelievably mellow and soooooo adorable:)

Pure Bliss- Mr. Baby *H*

Baby *H* has 3 older sisters who are so excited he’s here- and are so adoring to him, and want to attend to his every need. Mom sure has her hands full with girls who are 6y, 4y and 2y but what a lovely bunch they all are- and Mr. H sure rounds them out nicely:)

Mr. H defied my standard newborn norms- as most newborns less than a week old sleep pretty much the whole time I’m there- but not him! He was determined to be awake for most of it:)

I’ve known his mom since her oldest, and my trio were mere babes themselves- we were in an ECFE class together when they were only 6months old! My how time has flown- and I’m so thankful that so many of us from that class have remained friends:)

Newborn Sweetpea Mr. *K*

My *K* was only 6days old and such the perfect little photo client! Isn’t he just GORGOUS?! All that beautiful hair and the loveliest eyes! Such a sweetpea! His momma is a super planner- she had this photo session scheduled months ago so all I had to do was wait for the call that he was here, and ready to be photographed!:)

How sweet that you got one of him smiling!
That is so unique and hard to get at that age.
He is a beautiful baby boy!

Love all of his sweet little smiles!

6 month old Miss *E*

This cutie-pie was seen here only a few months ago- for her 3 month baby photos. Isn’t she a doll?? And I will admit I love her doggie- he shows me more love than my own dog!:)

Her daddy sure knows  how to make her laugh!:)

Heather - Friday, November 21, 2008 - 3:19 pm

Grandma B - Monday, November 24, 2008 - 1:53 pm

I could just eat her up! Love all those expressions, and those bright happy eyes! The one with the dog is just too cute too!

[…] as a button! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing her a few times in her life, (last seen here) and she just keeps getting cuter! She’s now a full fledged toddler and keeping her parents […]
