Happy Birthday to my 3 Peas!

Hard to believe that they are SIX years old!!! WHERE has all the time gone?

We have a fun filled day- and I’ll be back later with pics- but had to share a pic of their “beginning”:)

Makes me weepy to remember them so little:

Lori L - Wednesday, August 6, 2008 - 2:30 pm

Oh how sweet! Happy Birthday!

diana simpson - Wednesday, August 6, 2008 - 4:04 pm

i understand my oldest is almost 7 and it just flies by too fast

Jo - Wednesday, August 6, 2008 - 7:33 pm

Happy Birthday kiddos!!!

Chelle G. - Thursday, August 7, 2008 - 6:30 pm

Oh gosh I have tears. Reminds me of mine! Same hats and everything.

Little Mr. P – Toddlericious!

To say this boy loves basketball…would be an understatement. If he’d had his way- he would have tossed it down the driveway and made me chase it for him 100000times:)Toddlers crack me up- because you truly can’t MAKE them do anything for a photo- they just do what they want. Which I have to admit- I love. They are true to themselves like no other age! Now it does make my job as a photographer that much more challenging- but the photographs that result are so pure it makes it worth it 1000time over.:)

Jen - Sunday, August 3, 2008 - 9:17 pm

Big Day for The Girl!

Her bottom two teeth have been wiggly for like, um, 3 months now? I was starting to think they were never going to fall out! But today- her first tooth decided to make a break for it! She’s soooo excited “I have a window in my mouth!!”:)

Her new big toothless grin.:)

This one makes me laugh- cause she looks like an annoyed teenager….

With her tooth fairy pillow that she’s just been ITCHING to use:D

Newborn Baby *D*

I don’t what’s cuter….him or his fluffy hair!! Most newborns I’ve photographed are bald as can be- but not sweet Baby *D*- he has the CUTEST fluffy little hair on his new little head:)I also just LOVE his beautiful pouty lips! He was SUCH a good little trooper- when I arrived he was out like a sack-o-potatoes and let me do whatever I needed to! We barely heard a peep out of him the first hour! Baby *D* also holds the honor of being the first baby to releave himself on me- which by the way my kids found extremely humorous. One of their favorite questions to ask when I get home from a newborn session is to ask what blankets/etc the baby peed on – when they heard it was ME- they laughed and laughed. I’ve had many a parent get the treatment, so I suppose it’s only fair it happen to me as well:)

Jenty - Wednesday, July 30, 2008 - 2:18 pm

What a beautiful set!! I love the second one

diana simpson - Wednesday, July 30, 2008 - 2:19 pm

Wow…beautiful baby and great captures!

Kami Voiles - Thursday, July 31, 2008 - 2:42 am

I love photographing newborns!!! He is so sweet! I lol at the peeing story. As photographers, we know that there is no way we can get through a newborn session without having to do some laundry right afterwards! I have had a few pee on me directly as well. It’s worth it for the beautiful photos though, isn’t it? :)

Merav - Thursday, July 31, 2008 - 10:58 am

Oh – he is adorable and these portraits are wonderful!

Holli - Thursday, July 31, 2008 - 12:51 pm

I fell in love again.
He is exquisite…

Why I love Minneapolis- Meet Princess *P*

Having previously spent many years working in South Minneapolis, it has a particular fondness for me….and in my current vocation, I love it for another reason- GORGEOUS lighting and scenery! Of course- today, that is in part to the lovely home and awesome landscaping of the N family. Not to mention their beautiful little girl. Meet their precocious 2yr old- who I had SO much fun with!! When during a photo session you can go from poking at spiderwebs outside, to a tea party inside- it’s a great day:)

Cindy - Sunday, July 27, 2008 - 4:08 pm

Oooh that first one is stunning!

Janine - Sunday, July 27, 2008 - 5:26 pm

Sweet Baby Boy

I love photographing newborns….there’s just something about that pure, sweet, “newness”- there’s nothing else like it! This little guy was a trooper!! Sweet baby *A* did SO well- he was awake for a long time, and finally dozed of for just a few minutes- long enough for me to get some sweet sleeping shots:)
